Tart raspberries, bright lemon, and a touch of maple sweetness come together in a sparkling drink that feels genuinely special without requiring much effort. The homemade raspberry syrup is the real star here — simmered down from fresh berries and strained until silky smooth, it delivers bold fruit flavor with no additives or stabilizers hiding in the mix. That matters more than you might think, since many store-bought flavored syrups and bottled sparkling drinks sneak in emulsifiers to extend shelf life or improve texture. Every ingredient in this cooler is exactly what it says it is: fruit, juice, maple syrup, and bubbles. The lemon juice adds a clean, zippy contrast that keeps the drink from tipping too sweet, and the sparkling water gives it that satisfying fizz. A few mint sprigs and lemon slices on top make it look like something you'd pay too much for at a café. It's the kind of refreshing drink you'll want to keep a batch of syrup on hand for all season long.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the syrup is slightly thickened, about 6–8 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold, at least 30 minutes.
