Bright, tangy, and deeply refreshing, this sparkling raspberry lemonade-style drink is the kind of thing you'll want to make on repeat all summer long. Fresh raspberries are gently cooked down with maple syrup until they release every drop of their jewel-toned juice, then strained smooth before lemon juice and zest bring a citrusy punch that balances the sweetness perfectly. The whole base comes together in one saucepan, and once it's cooled and topped off with cold sparkling water, you've got something that looks and tastes like it came from a fancy café. Every single ingredient here is naturally free from tree nuts — no swaps needed, no label-scanning required. Poured over ice with a sprig of mint and a lemon slice, it's as pretty as it is delicious. This one is equally at home at a backyard cookout, a brunch spread, or just a slow afternoon when you want something a little more special than plain water.

Combine the raspberries, water, and maple syrup in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a wooden spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the mixture is deep red and steaming, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a pitcher, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the seeds and pulp left in the strainer.
