Staying hydrated during pregnancy can feel like a chore when plain water gets old fast, and this vibrant raspberry lemon drink makes it genuinely something to look forward to. Fresh raspberries are simmered down with maple syrup into a rich, jewel-toned syrup that's naturally sweetened — no artificial colors or questionable additives in sight. Real lemon juice and a hit of zest keep everything bright and refreshing, while cold sparkling water gives it that satisfying fizz without any caffeine concerns. Straining out the seeds means a silky-smooth sip every time, which is a small but welcome detail when your body is already asking a lot of you. Poured over ice with a sprig of mint, it looks gorgeous enough to serve at a baby shower but easy enough to make on a regular Tuesday afternoon. It's the kind of drink that feels like a treat while still being something you can feel genuinely good about.

Combine the raspberries, water, and maple syrup in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a wooden spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the mixture is deep red and steaming, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a pitcher, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the seeds and pulp left in the strainer.
