This vibrant, blush-colored drink is everything a warm-weather refresher should be — bright, fruity, and just tart enough to keep you reaching for another sip. Fresh raspberries are gently cooked down with maple syrup to create a silky, jewel-toned base that's naturally sweetened without a drop of corn syrup in sight. Lemon juice and zest layer in a citrusy zing that plays beautifully against the berry richness, and the sparkling water finish makes the whole thing feel a little celebratory. Because you're building the syrup from scratch on the stovetop, you have complete control over every ingredient — no mystery sweeteners hiding in a store-bought mix. Straining out the seeds gives the final drink a smooth, polished texture that looks stunning poured over ice with a sprig of fresh mint. It's the kind of drink that impresses guests but comes together with minimal effort and a short ingredient list.

Combine the raspberries, water, and maple syrup in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally and pressing the raspberries against the side of the pan with a wooden spoon, until the berries have completely broken down and the mixture is deep red and steaming, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a pitcher, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the seeds and pulp left in the strainer.
