Bright, tropical, and just the right amount of spicy, this iced tea is the kind of drink that makes you feel like you're somewhere warm even on an ordinary afternoon. Fresh ginger is simmered directly into the water before the tea bags are added, so every sip carries that deep, warming heat without any powders or extracts. Real pineapple juice β pressed or blended and strained from fresh fruit β gives the drink a natural sweetness and sunny flavor that no bottled version can match. A squeeze of lime ties everything together with a little tartness that keeps it from feeling heavy or cloying. Maple syrup does the sweetening here, and you can dial it up or down depending on how sweet your pineapple runs. This is naturally free from grains of any kind, so there's nothing to second-guess in the ingredient list β just clean, whole-food flavors from start to finish. Serve it over a tall glass of ice with a wedge of pineapple on the rim and it's instantly the most impressive thing on the table.

Combine the water and sliced ginger in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Remove from the heat, add the tea bags, and steep for 5 minutes, until the tea is deep amber and fragrant.
Remove and discard the tea bags. Stir in the maple syrup until fully dissolved. Let the ginger continue to steep in the hot tea for another 5 minutes, then strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing the ginger slices to extract their flavor; discard the solids.
