These little chocolate cups are a showstopper — cool peppermint-spiked dark chocolate shells packed with juicy strawberries, blueberries, crunchy walnuts, and almonds, all kissed with maple syrup and a pinch of sea salt. The combination of fresh fruit and toasted nuts inside a snappy 70%-plus cacao shell hits every texture and flavor note at once. Because the ingredient list is built entirely around chocolate, fruit, nuts, and natural sweetener, there's nothing hidden to worry about — what you see is genuinely what you get. Melting the chocolate low and slow with a touch of coconut oil keeps it glossy and workable, making the shell-building process surprisingly satisfying even if you've never tried candy-making before. A silicone mini muffin pan does all the heavy lifting, so the cups pop out cleanly without any fuss. Finish them with a scatter of flaky sea salt and they look like something from a boutique chocolate shop — but they came together in your own kitchen. They keep in the fridge for up to four days, which means you can make a full batch ahead and have an impressive little treat ready whenever you need one.

Place the chopped dark chocolate and coconut oil in a small saucepan over the lowest heat setting, stirring constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth, about 3–4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 tsp peppermint extract.
Using a small spoon or pastry brush, coat the inside of each cavity of a 24-cup silicone mini muffin pan with a thin, even layer of the melted chocolate, working it about 3/4 of the way up the sides. Reserve the remaining melted chocolate for sealing the cups. Refrigerate the pan for 10 minutes, until the chocolate shells are firm to the touch.
