These little chocolate cups are the kind of treat that looks like it came from a fancy confectionery but comes together with a silicone muffin pan and a handful of wholesome ingredients. A double hit of peppermint extract — once in the chocolate shell, once in the filling — gives every bite that cool, refreshing lift that makes the rich dark chocolate sing. Inside, fresh strawberries and blueberries mingle with roughly chopped walnuts and almonds, all lightly sweetened with maple syrup for a filling that feels indulgent and bright at the same time. The whole thing is naturally free of any black pepper or pepper-derived spices, so there's no label-scanning or substitution gymnastics required — just clean, straightforward ingredients from start to finish. Sealing the fruit-and-nut mixture inside a smooth dark chocolate lid keeps everything tidy and makes each cup a satisfying little self-contained bite. A finishing scatter of flaky sea salt is optional, but it really does push the chocolate-mint combination over the edge. Pop them out of the mold, pile them on a plate, and watch them disappear faster than you'd expect.

Place the chopped dark chocolate and coconut oil in a small saucepan over the lowest heat setting, stirring constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth, about 3–4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 tsp peppermint extract.
Using a small spoon or pastry brush, coat the inside of each cavity of a 24-cup silicone mini muffin pan with a thin, even layer of the melted chocolate, working it about 3/4 of the way up the sides. Reserve the remaining melted chocolate for sealing the cups. Refrigerate the pan for 10 minutes, until the chocolate shells are firm to the touch.
