Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta until just shy of al dente — tender but with a firm, chalky center — about 2 minutes less than the package directions. Drain in a colander and return to the pot. Toss with 1 tbsp olive oil to prevent sticking and let cool for 5 minutes.
