Oregano is fine during pregnancy in normal cooking amounts - this recipe uses about 1/2 tsp per serving. The caution is about concentrated oregano oil and large medicinal doses.

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, dried oregano, cumin, coriander, smoked paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne, salt, and black pepper until combined. Place the chicken thighs in a large zip-top bag or shallow dish, pour the marinade over, and turn to coat evenly. Seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to 8 hours.
When ready to cook, pulse the cauliflower florets in a food processor in two batches until broken down into rice-sized pieces, about 8–10 one-second pulses per batch. Do not over-process — the pieces should resemble coarse grains, not a purée.
