Coconut aminos is a common stand-in for soy sauce on a candida diet. It does carry a little sugar from coconut sap, but this recipe uses only about 3/4 teaspoon per serving, which is likely fine.













Make the avocado crema: combine the avocados, lime juice, cilantro, salt, and jalapeño (if using) in a blender or small food processor with 2 tablespoons of water. Blend until smooth and pourable, adding the remaining tablespoon of water if needed to reach a thick but spoonable consistency. Taste and adjust salt. Press a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface and set aside.
Place the salmon chunks in a food processor and pulse 8–10 times until the fish is coarsely chopped — you want a rough, chunky texture with some larger pieces remaining, not a smooth paste.
