Warm, bubbling fruit filling topped with a golden, nutty crumble ā this is the kind of dessert that makes a kitchen smell absolutely incredible. A vibrant mix of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries gets tossed with maple syrup, a touch of arrowroot starch, cinnamon, ginger, and a squeeze of lemon juice before it all goes into the oven to become jammy and thick. The topping is where things get really good: rolled oats, almond flour, sliced almonds, coconut oil, and maple syrup come together into loose, craggy clusters that bake up crisp and deeply golden. There's nothing here that doesn't belong ā just clean, wholesome ingredients that happen to be completely free of any celery or celery-derived additives, which can sneak into store-bought crumble mixes and spice blends more often than you'd expect. Letting it rest for ten minutes after baking is the one step you don't want to skip, since that's when the filling tightens up into that perfect scoopable consistency. Serve it as-is or with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on top ā either way, it disappears fast.
