Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, toss the turnip wedges with 2 tbsp olive oil and salt until evenly coated. Spread in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, cut sides down, leaving space between pieces.
