Staying well-hydrated while nursing can feel like a full-time job on top of, well, the actual full-time job of feeding a baby. This bright, fruity drink makes hitting your daily fluid goals genuinely enjoyable rather than a chore. Fresh strawberries are steeped in a light maple syrup to pull out every drop of their natural sweetness, then combined with real lemon juice and cold water for a flavor that tastes like summer in a glass. The gentle fizz from the sparkling water makes it feel like a treat, and because everything here is made from whole, recognizable ingredients, you know exactly what you're sipping. There's no artificial sweetener, no mystery syrup, and no caffeine to worry about — just clean, refreshing flavor. A sprig of mint and a lemon slice on the rim make it pretty enough to feel like you're doing something nice for yourself, which, honestly, you deserve.

Combine the maple syrup and 1/4 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the syrup is fully dissolved, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
Add the hulled and halved strawberries to the cooled maple syrup and press gently with a spoon to release their juice. Let the berries steep for 15 minutes, then strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a large pitcher, pressing the solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.
