Bone-in lamb shoulder is one of those cuts that rewards patience, and this slow-simmered stew is proof of exactly that. The meat braises low and slow in bone broth until it's falling off the bone, surrounded by sweet carrots, earthy parsnips, and tender wedges of green cabbage that soak up every bit of that fragrant, golden broth. Turmeric, Ceylon cinnamon, fresh ginger, and garlic build a warm, layered spice base that makes the whole kitchen smell incredible from the moment they hit the pot. Coconut oil handles the searing, apple cider vinegar adds a subtle brightness, and the bone broth brings a deep, collagen-rich body that no store-bought shortcut can replicate. Every ingredient here is clean and whole-food, so there's no need to scan labels or swap anything out ā it just works as written. A scatter of fresh parsley at the end lifts the whole bowl with a little color and freshness. This is the kind of hearty, nourishing meal that makes cooking from scratch feel completely worth it.
