Fresh kiwi, bright lime, and a touch of maple syrup come together in a drink that tastes like a tropical vacation in a glass. The whole thing is built from whole, recognizable ingredients โ no flavor packets, no powdered drink mixes, no additives hiding behind vague labels. That matters more than you might think, since a lot of store-bought coolers and flavored sparkling drinks sneak in glutamates or "natural flavors" that can be hard to trace. Here, you muddle real kiwi into a pulp, strain it smooth, and sweeten it with a quick maple syrup simple syrup that takes all of two minutes on the stove. The result is a jewel-toned, effervescent drink that's tart, lightly sweet, and genuinely refreshing. A handful of fresh mint stirred in right before serving adds an herbal lift that makes it feel a little fancy without any extra effort. It's the kind of drink you'll want to make on repeat all summer long.

Combine the maple syrup and water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the maple syrup fully dissolves, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 15 minutes until no longer warm to the touch.
Place the chopped kiwi in a pitcher and muddle firmly with a muddler or the back of a fork until the fruit is fully broken down into a rough pulp.
