Eggs are one of the most naturally supportive foods you can keep on hand when you're managing hormonal health — high in protein, rich in healthy fats, and completely free of the refined carbs and added sugars that can spike insulin and throw things off balance. The Instant Pot takes all the guesswork out of the process, delivering consistently cooked eggs with yolks that are fully set but never chalky or green-tinged. The five-minute natural release is the real secret here, giving the eggs just enough residual steam time to finish gently without overcooking. Transferring them straight to an ice bath locks in that perfect texture and makes peeling almost effortless — the shells practically slide off when you start at the wider end. Batch-cooking a dozen at once means you'll have a grab-and-go protein source ready all week, which is exactly the kind of low-effort, high-reward prep that makes eating well feel sustainable rather than stressful. Slice them over salads, pair them with avocado, or just eat one straight from the fridge with a pinch of salt — simple, satisfying, and genuinely good for you.

Pour 1 cup of water into the Instant Pot insert. Place the trivet or steamer basket inside. Arrange the eggs in a single layer on the trivet — they can touch but should not be stacked.
Lock the lid and set the pressure-release valve to Sealing. Cook on Manual (High Pressure) for 5 minutes. While the eggs cook, fill a large bowl with cold water and a generous amount of ice.
