Hard-boiled eggs sound simple, but getting them right โ no green ring around the yolk, no rubbery whites, shells that actually peel โ is trickier than most people expect. The Instant Pot takes all the guesswork out of it, delivering consistently perfect results every single time. A quick pressure cook followed by a natural release and an ice bath is the secret combination that keeps the texture tender and the yolk a beautiful, creamy yellow. The ice bath isn't optional either โ it stops the cooking instantly and makes peeling almost effortless, especially when you start at the wider end where the air pocket gives you a natural entry point. These eggs are endlessly versatile: slice them onto a salad, mash them into egg salad, pack them for a high-protein snack, or just eat them straight with a pinch of salt. With just eggs, water, and ice, there's nothing hidden in this recipe to worry about โ what you see is exactly what you get.
