Position an oven rack 6 inches from the broiler and heat the broiler to high. Arrange the tomatillos (cut-side up), poblano halves, and jalapeño halves on a rimmed baking sheet. Broil for 8–10 minutes, until the tomatillos are softened and charred in spots and the pepper skins are blistered and darkened.
Transfer the broiled tomatillos, poblanos, jalapeños, and any accumulated juices to a blender. Add the onion, garlic, diced green chiles, cumin, oregano, and coriander. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds. Set the sauce aside.
