That deep ruby-red color alone is enough to stop anyone mid-scroll, but the flavor is what really delivers โ tart hibiscus, sweet strawberry, and a bright hit of lemon all swirled together under a cloud of frothy oat milk. The whole thing is built from scratch using dried hibiscus flowers, fresh or frozen strawberries, and maple syrup simmered down into a concentrate that's genuinely more vibrant than anything you'd find bottled at a cafรฉ. This matters because many store-bought flavored milks, creamers, and ready-to-drink lattes rely on carrageenan as a thickener or stabilizer โ and it hides in more products than you'd expect, including some oat milks. Here, you control every single ingredient, so there's no label-scanning anxiety and no unwanted additives sneaking in. Frothing the oat milk by hand with a frother or a sealed jar keeps the process simple, and pouring it over the back of a spoon to float it on top gives you that gorgeous layered look without any special equipment. It's the kind of drink that feels like a treat from a specialty coffee shop, made entirely on your own terms.

Combine the water, dried hibiscus flowers, and strawberries in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat to low and cook for 8 minutes, until the liquid is deep ruby-red and the strawberries are completely soft.
Remove from the heat and stir in the maple syrup and lemon juice until the syrup dissolves. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a heatproof bowl or measuring cup, pressing the solids firmly with the back of a spoon to extract all the liquid. Discard the solids.
