½ cup ice cubes
½ cup milk
2 tbsp maple syrup
Chef's tip
Use the same amount; honey is a little thicker and slightly sweeter.
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

1
Brew a strong cup of coffee (a double-strength drip brew or 2 shots of espresso diluted to 1 cup works well) and let it cool to room temperature, about 20–30 minutes. For a faster chill, spread it in a shallow bowl or pour over a few ice cubes in a separate glass, then drain off the diluted water before using.
2
Combine the cooled coffee, ice cubes, milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using) in a blender.
