Rich, slow-simmered bone broth is one of those kitchen projects that rewards patience in the most satisfying way ā your whole house smells incredible for hours, and the result is something store-bought versions simply can't replicate. Starting with a hot oven to deeply brown the bones is the move that unlocks that deep, amber-colored, savory depth you want in every spoonful. A splash of apple cider vinegar goes into the pot early, helping to draw minerals and collagen out of the bones over the long simmer. Carrots, celery, onion, garlic, and a handful of fresh herbs round everything out so the flavor is complex without being fussy. Every single ingredient here is naturally free of gluten, which means no label-scanning, no worrying about hidden additives, and no compromises ā just clean, honest broth. Use it as a warming sip on its own, as the base for soups and stews, or anywhere you'd reach for stock and want something noticeably better. Make a big batch, freeze it in portions, and you'll always have something genuinely nourishing ready to go.
