Tart, floral, and bursting with berry flavor, this smoothie is the kind of drink that makes you feel like you're doing something genuinely good for yourself — and you are. Brewed hibiscus tea forms the liquid base, giving the whole blend a deep ruby color and a bright, cranberry-like tang that pairs beautifully with the sweetness of frozen strawberries, mixed berries, and banana. Ground flaxseed adds a subtle nuttiness along with a boost of fiber, while ginger, turmeric, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice layer in warmth and a little zing. Smoothies can be a surprisingly tricky category when you're avoiding yeast, since many store-bought versions or powdered mix-ins sneak in fermented ingredients or yeast-derived additives — here, every single ingredient is straightforwardly whole and clean. The frozen fruit does double duty as both flavor and natural thickener, so you get a rich, creamy texture without needing any dairy or processed fillers. A drizzle of honey or maple syrup lets you dial the sweetness exactly where you want it. Blend it up, pour it into two glasses, and finish with a few fresh strawberry slices if you want that extra pop of color.

Bring 1 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from heat, add the dried hibiscus flowers, and steep for 10 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a heatproof cup, discard the flowers, and let the tea cool for at least 5 minutes until no longer steaming.
Add the cooled hibiscus tea, frozen strawberries, frozen mixed berries, frozen banana, ground flaxseed, ground ginger, ground turmeric, honey, and lemon juice to a blender.
