Bright, tangy, and deeply fruity, this blended drink gets its gorgeous ruby color from a base of steeped dried hibiscus flowers that pull double duty as both flavor and visual wow factor. The combination of frozen strawberries, mixed berries, and banana creates a thick, creamy texture without any dairy, while ground flaxseed quietly adds a boost of plant-based goodness in every sip. A pinch of ginger and turmeric give it a subtle warmth that keeps the flavor interesting well beyond the first taste. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice ties everything together with just enough brightness to balance the natural sweetness from the fruit and honey. Since every ingredient here is straightforwardly plant-based, there is zero guesswork about what is actually in your glass — no hidden animal proteins, no processed fillers, just whole foods blended smooth. It comes together quickly once your hibiscus tea has cooled, making it an easy option for a refreshing breakfast or an afternoon pick-me-up. Top with a few fresh strawberry slices and it looks as good as it tastes.

Bring 1 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from heat, add the dried hibiscus flowers, and steep for 10 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a heatproof cup, discard the flowers, and let the tea cool for at least 5 minutes until no longer steaming.
Add the cooled hibiscus tea, frozen strawberries, frozen mixed berries, frozen banana, ground flaxseed, ground ginger, ground turmeric, honey, and lemon juice to a blender.
