Black pepper can worsen reflux in some people, but the small amount in this recipe (less than 1/8 teaspoon per serving) is likely tolerated by many with GERD. If you prefer to always avoid black pepper, please tap it and change its rating to Red.

Fresh chives appears here only as an optional add-on, and the recipe uses just about 1/2 teaspoon per serving, which is likely fine for most people with GERD. If you prefer to always avoid fresh chives, please tap it and change its rating to Red.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, fine sea salt, and black pepper. Add the rosemary, thyme, parsley, and chives, if using, and stir to distribute evenly throughout the flour.
Drizzle in the olive oil and cold water. Stir with a fork until the dough begins to come together, then use your hands to press it into a cohesive ball — it should feel smooth and slightly tacky but not sticky. If it crumbles, add cold water 1 tsp at a time.
