Slow-roasted lamb is one of those dishes that feels like a celebration the moment it comes out of the oven, and this version delivers deep, golden flavor without a single ingredient that would throw off a candida-conscious eating plan. The herb paste ā built from fresh oregano, rosemary, thyme, turmeric, and ginger ā does serious aromatic work here, and every one of those ingredients pulls its weight both in flavor and in supporting the kind of clean, anti-inflammatory cooking this diet calls for. Garlic slivers pressed directly into the meat infuse every slice from the inside out, while bright lemon juice and zest cut through the richness in the most satisfying way. Bone broth in the roasting pan keeps everything moist during the long, low cook, and because it's homemade or a compliant brand, there are no hidden sugars or additives to worry about. The two-stage roasting method ā covered low and slow, then blasted uncovered at high heat ā gives you fall-apart tender meat with a deeply caramelized crust that looks genuinely impressive. A long overnight marinade does most of the heavy lifting, so the day-of effort is minimal for a result that tastes like you spent all day in the kitchen. Scatter fresh parsley and a few lemon wedges over the top before serving and you have a showstopper centerpiece that fits the protocol without compromise.
