Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides.
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and honey and stir until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth and just beginning to bubble at the edges, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
