Candida diets often limit peas early on because they are high in starch. This recipe works out to only about 1/4 cup of peas per serving, which is likely fine. If you prefer to always avoid peas, please tap it and change its rating to Red.

grated parmesan cheese
Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add 1 tsp salt, then cook the linguine according to package directions until al dente — tender with a slight resistance at the center. Before draining, scoop out 1/2 cup of pasta cooking water and set it aside. Drain the pasta in a colander.
While the pasta cooks, heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat until shimmering. Add the leeks and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and wilted, about 5 minutes.
