Creamy, tropical, and naturally sweet, this frozen treat delivers serious ice cream energy with nothing but whole fruit and a few bright flavor boosters. Frozen bananas are the secret weapon here — blended from solid, they transform into a silky, soft-serve-like base that genuinely rivals the real thing. Ripe mango adds a bold, sun-ripened sweetness, while fresh ginger and lime juice cut through with just enough zing to keep every bite interesting. Because the ingredient list is so clean and straightforward, there's zero guesswork about what's actually in your bowl — no labels to scrutinize, no shared-facility warnings to stress over. A drizzle of honey can round out the sweetness if you like, but the fruit does most of the heavy lifting on its own. Serve it straight from the blender for a soft, dreamy texture, or pop it in the freezer for an hour if you prefer something more scoopable. Finish with a few fresh mint leaves and it looks almost too pretty to eat — almost.

At least 4 hours before serving, peel and slice the bananas into 1-inch rounds and spread them in a single layer on a parchment-lined plate or small sheet pan. Freeze until completely solid, at least 4 hours or overnight.
Remove the frozen banana slices and frozen mango chunks from the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for 3–5 minutes, until just slightly softened at the edges — they should still be frozen solid at the center.
