2 tbsp coconut aminos
1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
Ingredient note
Cooking often breaks down the heat-sensitive proteins that trigger oral allergy syndrome, so the cooked garlic in this recipe is likely tolerated by many with OAS. If unsure, consult your doctor. To always avoid garlic, tap it and change its rating to Red.
½ tsp ground turmeric
¼ tsp fine sea salt
1 tbsp coconut oil

For the glaze

3 tbsp coconut aminos
1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp arrowroot starch
1 tsp honey

Instructions

1
Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and brush or rub it with the coconut oil.
2
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, cassava flour, 2 tbsp coconut aminos, ginger, garlic, turmeric, and salt. Mix with your hands until just combined — do not overwork the mixture or the meatballs will be dense.
