Fresh citrus and garden mint come together in a sparkling drink that feels like summer in a glass. The base is a homemade maple mint simple syrup β made by steeping bruised fresh mint leaves in warm maple syrup and water β which gives the whole cooler a natural, herbal sweetness that no bottled mixer can replicate. Freshly squeezed orange and lime juice keep things bright and tangy, while chilled sparkling water adds the kind of fizz that makes every sip feel celebratory. Because every ingredient here is naturally free of gluten, there's zero label-reading stress β just real, whole ingredients you can feel good about. It's an easy pitcher drink that works just as well for a quiet afternoon on the porch as it does for a backyard gathering. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime wedge and it looks almost too pretty to drink β almost.

Combine the water and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the maple syrup fully dissolves, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Add the mint leaves to the warm syrup and press them gently with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon until fragrant and slightly bruised. Let the mint steep for 15 minutes, then strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing the leaves to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the spent mint.
