Fresh citrus and garden mint come together in a sparkling drink that feels like summer in a glass. The base is a homemade maple mint simple syrup β warm water coaxes the sweetness out of the maple syrup while bruised mint leaves steep until the whole thing smells incredible. Freshly squeezed orange and lime juice bring a bright, tangy backbone that no bottled mixer can replicate. Chilled sparkling water is stirred in gently at the end so every pour stays beautifully fizzy. This is the kind of drink that looks stunning on a table with a sprig of mint and a lime wedge tucked over the rim, but it genuinely takes almost no effort to pull together. Every single ingredient here is naturally grain-free, so there's zero guesswork about hidden additives or malt-derived sweeteners β just clean, real food from start to finish. It works equally well as a mocktail centerpiece at a gathering or a quiet afternoon treat you made just for yourself.

Combine the water and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the maple syrup fully dissolves, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Add the mint leaves to the warm syrup and press them gently with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon until fragrant and slightly bruised. Let the mint steep for 15 minutes, then strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing the leaves to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the spent mint.
