Fresh citrus and garden mint come together in a sparkling drink that feels like summer in a glass. The base is a homemade maple mint simple syrup β warm water coaxes the sweetness out of the maple syrup while bruised mint leaves steep until the whole thing smells incredible. Freshly squeezed orange and lime juice bring bright, tangy depth that no bottled mixer can match. Everything gets topped off with chilled sparkling water for a fizzy, refreshing finish that's as pretty as it is delicious. Since every ingredient here is naturally whole and straightforward, there's zero guesswork about what's actually in your glass β no hidden extracts, no shared-facility concerns, just clean, vibrant flavor. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge and it looks like something you'd pay twelve dollars for at a rooftop bar.

Combine the water and maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the maple syrup fully dissolves, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Add the mint leaves to the warm syrup and press them gently with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon until fragrant and slightly bruised. Let the mint steep for 15 minutes, then strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing the leaves to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the spent mint.
