Bright, icy, and bursting with real fruit flavor, this frozen strawberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes a hot afternoon feel instantly better. It comes together with just a handful of clean, whole ingredients — fresh strawberries, squeezed lemons, and a quick homemade simple syrup — so you know exactly what's going into your glass. That matters more than you might think, since plenty of store-bought lemonades and flavored drink mixes sneak in additives or emulsifiers that can be surprisingly hard to track. Here, everything is made from scratch, which means zero hidden ingredients and zero guesswork. The blender does most of the work, churning the fruit and ice into a thick, slushy texture that feels way more indulgent than it actually is. A garnish of fresh mint and lemon slices makes it look like something from a café menu, but it's genuinely effortless to pull off at home.

Combine the sugar and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold, at least 30 minutes.
Add the hulled strawberries, lemon juice, cold water, ice cubes, and all of the chilled simple syrup to a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth and slushy, about 45–60 seconds.
