Bright, icy, and bursting with real fruit flavor, this frozen strawberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes a hot afternoon feel instantly better. Every sip is built on fresh strawberries and freshly squeezed lemon juice, so you know exactly what's going into your glass — no mystery additives, no preservatives, and nothing that doesn't belong there. That matters more than people realize with store-bought blended drinks, which often sneak in color stabilizers or flavor enhancers that can contain hidden preservatives. Here, a quick homemade simple syrup is the only sweetener in play, and you control how much goes in based on your own taste. The whole thing comes together in a blender in under a minute once your syrup is chilled, making it genuinely easy to pull off on a whim. Garnish with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint if you want it to look as good as it tastes.

Combine the sugar and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold, at least 30 minutes.
Add the hulled strawberries, lemon juice, cold water, ice cubes, and all of the chilled simple syrup to a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth and slushy, about 45–60 seconds.
