Bright, icy, and bursting with real fruit flavor, this frozen strawberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes a hot afternoon feel instantly better. Every sip is built on fresh strawberries and just-squeezed lemon juice, so you know exactly what's going into your glass — no flavor packets, no mystery additives, nothing processed. That matters more than people realize, because so many store-bought lemonades and drink mixes sneak in flavor enhancers that have no business being in something this simple. A quick homemade simple syrup ties everything together, and you can dial the sweetness or tartness up or down right in the blender before you pour. The result is thick, slushy, and genuinely refreshing — somewhere between a smoothie and a granita, in the best possible way. Garnish with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint if you want it to look as good as it tastes.

Combine the sugar and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold, at least 30 minutes.
Add the hulled strawberries, lemon juice, cold water, ice cubes, and all of the chilled simple syrup to a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth and slushy, about 45–60 seconds.
