Tart, sweet, and brilliantly pink, this frozen slushy drink is pure summer in a glass. Fresh strawberries and real squeezed lemon juice give it a brightness that no powder mix or bottled concentrate can match. A quick homemade simple syrup ties everything together, letting you dial the sweetness up or down to exactly where you want it. Everything goes straight into the blender with ice, so you're just minutes away from something that looks and tastes genuinely impressive. Garnish with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint and it's practically begging to be photographed. It's naturally free of any animal products whatsoever, so there's zero ingredient-label stress — just fruit, citrus, sugar, and water doing their thing beautifully.

Combine the sugar and 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved, about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold, at least 30 minutes.
Add the hulled strawberries, lemon juice, cold water, ice cubes, and all of the chilled simple syrup to a blender. Blend on high until completely smooth and slushy, about 45–60 seconds.
