Bright, tangy, and flushed with a gorgeous deep-pink hue, this raspberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes any afternoon feel like a special occasion. A quick homemade raspberry syrup — built from fresh berries, maple syrup, and water — gets strained smooth before meeting freshly squeezed lemon juice, so every sip is silky and vibrant with no seeds or pulp to get in the way. Because the sweetness comes entirely from maple syrup rather than refined sugar or any dairy-based additions, this pitcher drink is naturally free of lactose without any substitutions required. Fresh lemon juice does all the heavy lifting here, so skip the bottled stuff and let those four or five lemons shine. A handful of ice, a few lemon slices, and a sprig of mint turn a simple glass into something that looks almost too pretty to drink. It's endlessly refreshing on its own, but also a fantastic base for a sparkling twist — just swap half the cold water for fizzy water when you pour. Make a big batch, keep it in the fridge, and watch it disappear faster than you expect.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the raspberries break down completely and the mixture is bubbling and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the seeds and pulp. Let the raspberry syrup cool for 15 minutes.
