Bright, tangy, and flushed with the color of summer, this raspberry lemonade is the kind of drink that makes you want to sit on a porch and do absolutely nothing productive. Fresh raspberries are simmered down with maple syrup into a silky, jewel-toned syrup that carries real fruit flavor — no concentrates, no additives, nothing you'd need to second-guess. That matters more than it sounds, because so many store-bought lemonades and flavored syrups sneak in emulsifiers to stabilize texture or extend shelf life. Here, everything is exactly what it looks like: fruit, citrus, natural sweetener, and water. Straining the cooked raspberries through a fine-mesh sieve gives you a smooth, seed-free syrup that blends seamlessly with the fresh-squeezed lemon juice. The result is a pitcher drink that's genuinely refreshing, beautifully pink, and completely clean in its ingredient list. Serve it over ice with a few mint sprigs and lemon slices for a presentation that looks far more effortful than it actually is.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the raspberries break down completely and the mixture is bubbling and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the seeds and pulp. Let the raspberry syrup cool for 15 minutes.
