Tart, fruity, and beautifully pink, this raspberry lemonade is the kind of drink that feels like a treat while actually being genuinely wholesome. It's sweetened with maple syrup instead of refined white sugar, which makes it a much more nourishing choice when your body is working hard to produce milk. Fresh lemon juice and real raspberries mean you're getting a natural boost of vitamin C and antioxidants in every glass — no artificial flavors or dyes to worry about. The homemade raspberry syrup comes together in just a few minutes on the stovetop, and straining out the seeds gives it a silky, smooth finish that feels almost fancy. Staying well-hydrated is one of the most important things you can do while nursing, and having something this delicious to sip on makes it a whole lot easier to hit your fluid goals throughout the day. Serve it over ice with a sprig of fresh mint and a lemon slice, and it's pretty enough to set out for guests too.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the raspberries break down completely and the mixture is bubbling and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the seeds and pulp. Let the raspberry syrup cool for 15 minutes.
