There is something undeniably refreshing about a glass of homemade lemonade, and this raspberry version takes it to a whole new level. Fresh raspberries are simmered down with maple syrup into a vibrant, jewel-toned syrup that gets strained smooth before meeting bright, freshly squeezed lemon juice. Every single ingredient here is whole and recognizable — no shelf-stable concentrates, no artificially preserved syrups, no store-bought shortcuts that sneak in unwanted additives. That matters a lot when you're avoiding synthetic preservatives like BHA and BHT, which tend to hide in packaged drink mixes and flavored syrups. The result is a pitcher of lemonade that tastes genuinely alive — tart, floral, and just sweet enough. Serve it over ice with a few lemon slices and fresh mint, and it looks as stunning as it tastes.

Combine the raspberries, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the raspberries break down completely and the mixture is bubbling and slightly thickened, about 4–5 minutes.
Pour the raspberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer set over a bowl or measuring cup, pressing firmly on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the seeds and pulp. Let the raspberry syrup cool for 15 minutes.
