Bright, citrusy, and laced with cool mint, this homemade lemonade is the kind of drink that makes any afternoon feel like a special occasion. A quick mint simple syrup — made by steeping fresh leaves in warm maple syrup — gives it a depth and fragrance that store-bought lemonade simply can't match. The combination of fresh lemon juice and orange juice creates a layered tartness that's refreshing without being one-note. Every single ingredient here is naturally free of grains and oats, so there's zero label-reading stress — just pure, wholesome refreshment straight from your pitcher. You can easily dial the flavor up or down by adjusting the lemon juice or water to suit your crowd. Poured over ice and garnished with citrus slices and a sprig of fresh mint, it's as beautiful to look at as it is to drink.

Combine the maple syrup and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the syrup is fully dissolved, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add the mint leaves to the warm syrup and press them gently with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon until fragrant. Let the mint steep for 10 minutes, then strain out and discard the leaves.
