Bright, citrusy, and laced with cool herbal sweetness, this homemade lemonade is the kind of drink that makes any afternoon feel like a special occasion. A mint-infused maple syrup forms the backbone of the flavor, steeped just long enough to pull out that fresh, fragrant quality before being strained into the pitcher. Fresh lemon and orange juice bring a layered tartness that bottled concentrates simply can't match. The whole thing comes together in one pitcher with no complicated steps — just squeeze, steep, stir, and serve over ice. Every single ingredient here is straightforwardly whole and plant-based, so there's no need to scan labels or second-guess anything hiding in a packaged mix. Garnish with extra mint sprigs and a few citrus rounds and it looks like something you'd pay too much for at a café. It's endlessly adjustable too — a little more lemon if you like it sharp, a splash more water if you want it lighter.

Combine the maple syrup and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the syrup is fully dissolved, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add the mint leaves to the warm syrup and press them gently with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon until fragrant. Let the mint steep for 10 minutes, then strain out and discard the leaves.
