This bold, bracing tonic is built entirely from roots, citrus, spices, and raw honey — nothing synthetic, nothing artificial, just real ingredients doing serious work. Horseradish, ginger, and fresh turmeric bring the heat and depth, while lemon and orange zest add a bright citrusy lift that makes every sip feel alive. Store-bought wellness shots and bottled tonics are notorious for sneaking in dyes and artificial additives to boost their color or shelf appeal, but this one gets its gorgeous golden-amber hue purely from turmeric and the slow steeping process. The two-week infusion in raw apple cider vinegar draws out every bit of flavor and potency from the whole ingredients, and the result is something far more complex than the sum of its parts. A daily shot of this stuff has become a ritual for a lot of people, and once you taste how fiery and layered it is, you'll understand why. Raw honey rounds out the sharpness just enough without tipping it into sweet territory. Make a jar, shake it daily, and you'll have a pantry staple that lasts up to six months — completely clean and completely yours.

Add the grated horseradish, grated ginger, grated turmeric, sliced garlic, lemon zest and juice, orange zest and juice, crushed black peppercorns, and cayenne to a clean 1-quart wide-mouth glass jar. Tuck in the rosemary sprig, if using.
Pour the apple cider vinegar over the solids, pressing them down gently so everything is submerged. The jar should be nearly full; if the solids are not covered, add a splash more vinegar.
