Rich, bittersweet dark chocolate meets toasty hazelnuts in these satisfying little clusters — and every single ingredient is exactly what it sounds like, no hidden nuts or surprise add-ins to worry about. The chocolate gets melted low and slow over a double boiler, which keeps it glossy and smooth, while a whisper of cinnamon adds just enough warmth to make these taste genuinely special. Toasting the hazelnuts first is the move that makes all the difference — it deepens their flavor and gives each cluster that irresistible crunch beneath the chocolate shell. A pinch of flaky sea salt on top ties everything together with that sweet-salty contrast that makes it nearly impossible to stop at one. These come together with just four ingredients and a short chill in the fridge, making them an easy win for gifting, snacking, or stashing in the back of the fridge for yourself. They keep beautifully in an airtight container, so you can make a batch ahead and have something genuinely impressive ready to go at any moment.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the hazelnuts in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and toast for 10–12 minutes, until the skins are cracked and the nuts are fragrant and golden beneath the skin.
Transfer the hot hazelnuts onto a clean kitchen towel, fold the towel over them, and rub vigorously for about 1 minute to remove most of the skins. Let the nuts cool for 5 minutes.
