Chinese cabbage only becomes a problem on a low FODMAP diet in larger amounts; this recipe uses only about 1/2 cup per serving, so it is likely Low FODMAP. If you prefer to always avoid chinese cabbage, please tap it and change its rating to Red.



The green parts of scallions are low in FODMAPs. Avoid the white bulb which is higher in FODMAPs.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions until just tender, then drain in a colander and rinse under cold water. Shake off as much water as possible, transfer to a bowl, and toss with the sesame oil and 1 tbsp of the neutral oil until the noodles are evenly coated and separated.
In a small bowl, whisk together the oyster sauce, 2 tbsp soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, cornstarch, and chicken broth until the cornstarch is fully dissolved. Set aside.
