The green parts of scallions are low in FODMAPs. Avoid the white bulb which is higher in FODMAPs.


Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a boil. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package directions until tender with a slight resistance at the center, about 6ā8 minutes. Drain in a colander and rinse under cold running water until the noodles are completely cool to the touch.
Transfer the drained noodles to a large mixing bowl and toss with 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil until evenly coated to prevent sticking. Set aside.
