Oregano is fine during pregnancy in normal cooking amounts - this recipe uses about a pinch per serving. The caution is about concentrated oregano oil and large medicinal doses.



Combine the tomato sauce, water, white vinegar, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, sugar, salt, and cayenne (if using) in a small saucepan. Whisk until smooth.
