Combine the warmed milk, yeast, and 1 tsp of the granulated sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer. Let stand until foamy, about 5–10 minutes.
Add the remaining granulated sugar, flour, salt, and eggs to the yeast mixture. Mix on low speed with the dough hook until a shaggy dough forms, about 2 minutes. Increase to medium speed and knead for 5 minutes, until the dough is mostly smooth.
