Few drinks hit quite like a tall glass of iced tea on a warm afternoon, and this peach version takes things to a whole new level. Real ripe peaches are simmered down into a silky homemade syrup that gives every sip a bright, fruity sweetness you simply cannot get from a powder or a bottle. Because the recipe is built entirely from fresh fruit, sugar, water, and black tea, there's nothing here that raises any flags — no fermentation, no hidden additives, just clean and simple ingredients working together beautifully. The peach syrup gets strained until smooth, so the final drink is crystal clear and gorgeous poured over ice. A few fresh mint sprigs and extra peach slices on the rim make it look like something from a restaurant patio, but the whole process is genuinely straightforward to pull off at home. It's the kind of pitcher drink that disappears fast, so you may want to double the batch.

Combine the chopped peaches, sugar, and 1/2 cup water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the peaches soften and begin to break down, about 8–10 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the peach mixture cool for 5 minutes, then press it through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl or measuring cup, pressing the solids firmly with the back of a spoon to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the solids.
