There is something deeply satisfying about a glass of iced tea that tastes exactly like summer, and this peach version absolutely delivers. Real ripe peaches are simmered down with sugar and water into a lush, fragrant syrup that brings genuine fruit flavor — no shortcuts, no mystery ingredients. That matters more than you might think, because so many bottled and powdered tea mixes rely on artificial flavoring agents to mimic what fresh fruit actually tastes like. Here, the peach flavor comes entirely from the fruit itself, strained into a silky syrup that blends beautifully with brewed black tea. The result is bright, floral, and just sweet enough without tasting like a candy version of the real thing. Garnish with fresh mint and a few peach slices and you have something that looks as good as it tastes.

Combine the chopped peaches, sugar, and 1/2 cup water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the peaches soften and begin to break down, about 8–10 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the peach mixture cool for 5 minutes, then press it through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl or measuring cup, pressing the solids firmly with the back of a spoon to extract as much syrup as possible. Discard the solids.
